The art I create is a manifestation of my inner purpose. The creative spark that inspires art is the same that drives us on our shared path of evolutionary enlightenment. The creative impulse which is brought forth from the subtle levels of consciousness is a direct link to all that is divine.

Often art is divorced from its spiritual source in post-modernism by the atomistic and mechanistic philosophical foundations of western society. We are moving as a society and a planet to a more fully integrated vision of reality by including the scientific, mechanistic, reductionist approach with the more subtle and intuitive spiritual dimension.

These pieces are based on graffiti found in various cities, most of which are from a segment of the Berlin Wall. In 1989 when the wall came down pieces were scattered all over the world and represent a life-size jigg-saw puzzle.

When I see graffiti I see the freedom of expression and desire to create that must have an outlet and an audience. This driving force is the same that pulls us along on our spiritual path. My intention in creating this art is to view urban art through a spiritual lens and bring it to a new level that transcends and includes urban reality and spiritual beauty. To many this may seem a direct contradiction. It is offered as a modern day koan to those who wish to dive below the surface to discover a deeper meaning.
